I bought this nice basic topiary for $6 at Goodwill today but I am not sure what to do with it. Here it is on my oak drop-leaf table in the entry. I could paint the pot an antiqued silver.
The other option is to put it in the center of my kitchen breakfast bar. I’d love to get one of those vinyl monograms to put on it, too. I could also decorate it for the holidays.
Do any of you brilliant decorator types have any ideas? I lean toward traditional Southern decor with a touch of whimsy and French Country.
The painting is by James Michalopolous from New Orleans. I got it for a steal years ago at an artist’s yard sale.
And if you absolutely hate fake ivy topiaries, it’s OK to tell me that, too.
