As someone who spends so much time online, it’s truly a joy to me to give and receive Christmas cards. There’s nothing better than going to the mailbox and receiving a beautiful card.
Minted contacted me recently to browse their beautiful card selection and choose a holiday card. A few observations about their selection. They have an amazing assortment of holiday cards from designers around the world and their site is very easy to navigate. I also loved the selection process. I was able to preview my card, edit the text, and even move some elements around until my card was perfect.
Because I am NOT that super together mom who schedules a family photo portrait shoot every year and mails her Christmas cards early (I am the mom who goes to the school field trip only to find her camera batteries are dead or she left the memory card at home), I went through our recent photographs and chose a picture I’d taken of my girls for a review. I had a very specific color scheme to work with as they were wearing teals and plums, definitely not traditional Christmas colors. I love that most of the Minted card selections can be chosen in several color schemes. The designs are fresh and contemporary and there’s something for any and every style, whether you love traditional ho ho ho red and green or want something a little different.
I ultimately chose the Simply Noel Holiday Photo Card on signature paper by Alex Elko Design out of San Francisco. I love them! The cards are printed on beautiful, heavy quality card stock, and not flimsy photo paper.
The beauty of Minted’s site is that if you zero in on a designer you love you can peruse all of their designs, whether they be holiday cards or baby announcements. They also have a cool feature called the holiday card comparison tool which is such a gift to indecisive people (like me!)

Throwing a party? I also love their holiday party invites.
