When my daughters were babies they loved to chill out to white noise. For a short while the stove fan in our kitchen never failed to lull my youngest asleep as a baby so she spent a lot of time napping in her bouncy seat while I worked in the kitchen.
I don’t review many infant or baby products, but with so many of my co-workers having babies this year I was happy to review the Lulla-Bear, a sweet stuffed toy bear that is an MP3 Music Player featuring clear digital sound. This would make a great baby registry item; I wish we’d had something like this for our girls!
The Lulla-Bear comes pre-loaded witih 90 minutes of baby friendly music, lullabies and play songs, as well as nature sounds, which is my personal favorite. The soft buttons on his feet are easy to push and he runs on 3 AA batteries (which are included.) I love the fact that the Lulla-Bear grows with your child as you can customize him with your child’s favorite songs and stories. You just plug the Lulla-Bear in to your computer with the provided USB cable and download your own audio files; no extra software is required. So if you’re baby is a rocker, you could download a little Led Zeppelin. (You could…not saying you should.) You could even record yourself reading your child’s favorite bedtime stories.
Lulla-Bear sports a cute red plaid bow. At my all girl household we’re all about the pink so I wish he came in a boy and a girl version. Still, I think he’d make a great baby gift.
