Peas are an excellent source of carbohydrates with lots of vitamins, minerals and fiber.Black-eyed peas are an excellent source of calcium (211mg in a 1 cup serving), folate (209mcg), and vitamin A (1,305 IU) among other nutrients. So from a nutrition point of view, these are very good.

Our twins love sweet green peas. A simple recipe we use is to first steam cook the peas, then lightly saute in a little olive oil, add a dash of salt and pepper, and it’s ready in minutes! They love to pick them one by one and enjoy eating and playing with them. You need to watch them carefully because it can be a choking hazard.
