Don’t forget to store Kraft MilkBite bars in the fridge and to hide the chocolate ones from your kids unless you really don’t mind them not sharing.
Quick and easy…that’s how I like ’em. Snacks that is. Yes folks this is life in the fast lane. The fast car pool lane.
As a busy working mom with two equally busy kids, I am always on the lookout for quick and easy snacks. Kraft sent us two boxes of their new MilkBite Milk and Granola bars to try and the girls immediately honed in on the chocolate flavored ones. (Dammit I knew I should have hidden them, I mean claimed them!)
I’m not kidding when I say that the chocolate MilkBite bars were gone within 24 hours of entering our home. They never stood a chance. Unfortunately that also meant that mom never had a chance to test them out but the girls assured me that they were delicious.
Kraft MilkBite bars are also available in peanut butter, oatmeal raisin and mixed berry flavors so there’s definitely a MilkBite bar for everyone on your shopping list.
Now I now it’s tough to get excited about another granola bar on the market, but Kraft has made these a little different, and I can definitely vouch for the strawberry variety…they are delicious and a great on the go breakfast. They’d also make an ideal after school snack. I don’t know about your kids, but mine always act like they haven’t eaten for days when they get home from school.
For starters, you won’t find Kraft MilkBite bars in the cereal and granola aisle. They’re in the dairy section and are meant to be refrigerated. What else sets them apart from the usual dry and sometimes not so tasty granola bar?
- Made with real milk
- 30% daily value of Calcium
- 5g of Protein
- Good source of Fiber and Vitamin D
- No artificial flavor, colors, or preservatives
- 7g of whole grains per bar
You can read more about Kraft’s latest MilkBite bars on Facebook. They’re great for tossing in those soccer bags for early Saturday morning games. Almost makes me wish Miss A were playing soccer this spring. Well, not really.
