What can I say? We’ve been Kidz Bop’d and my girls couldn’t be more thrilled.
I won’t lie to you. I rolled my eyes when I received an e-mail about the latest offering from Kidz Bop (Kidz Bop 15) but I knew my girls, who are 3 going on 13 and 6 going on 16, would LOVE it. Pink puffy heart love it with rainbow sprinkles on top. And they do. Plus somehow, by the grace of God, the girls were never Barney fans so I figured the least I could do was let them listen to a Kidz Bop CD.
Since it came in the mail yesterday they’ve requested, nay pleaded, to hear it again and again. They sing, they dance, and they want to play it over and over.
Their favorite song is Disturbia by Rihanna and I’ll have to admit I love the version of “I’m Yours” by Jason Mraz as it’s one of my favorite songs.
Here’s the full playlist:
1. So What
2. Let It Rock
3. When I Grow Up
4. American Boy
6. Hot N Cold
8. Burnin Up

12. Better In Time
13. What About Now
14. Love Story
16. Gotta Be Somebody

I wasn’t familiar (I swear) with the Kidz Bop official website, but there are games, and videos, and kids can make and upload their own webshows and videos in a safe online environment. There is a free download of the sing-along version of the first single, “Let It Rock,” and an opportunity for kids to use the Kidz Bop Video Karaoke Maker. The keyword, though? Safe.
Right now Kidz Bop 15 is on sale at Amazon.com for $10.99.
