So, after the painful, awkward years of braces I came out with relatively straight teeth and I have very few fillings. And I want to keep it that way.
A couple of years ago I had three wisdom teeth extracted after putting the procedure off for years (I conveniently blamed being pregnant and nursing for a couple of those years) and I think that put the fear of God in me as far as dental procedures.
DO. NOT. LIKE.
We have good dental insurance through my employer which includes teeth cleanings every 6 months, which I am diligent about committing to. I also regularly use home whitening strips, which I think make a big difference in my smile in photographs. Confession time, though..I am a fairly sporadic flosser. I know there are more pro-active steps I could be taking to ensure that my chompers are in it to win it. Or at least eat it and look pretty when I smile.
I’m testing out Crest Pro-Health Invigorating Clean Multi-Protection Rinse this month as part of a blogger test drive program.
Some of the benefits of Crest Pro-Health Invigorating Clean Multi-Protection Rinse:
- Kills germs
- Reduces plaque
- Helps prevent gingivitis
- Keeps teeth cleaner longer (vs. brushing alone)
- Freshens breath
- Invigorating sensation
I will check in later this month to give ya’ll an update on my experience with Crest Pro-Health Invigorating Clean Multi-Protection Rinse, which is intended for twice daily use. So far I am noticing that my teeth feel cleaner (that nice slick feeling) and fresher after using the rinse, even when I wake up in the morning. And as an added bonus? It tastes refreshing and is not too overwhelming, like many mouthwash formulas can be.
I wrote this review while participating in a test drive campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Crest and received a sample to facilitate my candid review. Mom Central Consulting sent me a gift card to thank me for taking the time to participate.
