Now that school has started it is taking all my mom super powers to keep my girls’ schedules organized and we won’t even talk about mine. Between school activities, dental appointments, soccer and Girl Scouts, they have enough going on to practically justify a personal assistant. Wait…that’s me.
Blue Sky, based in Orange County, California, is known for practical products that combine utility and fashion. They’re eco-friendly, too. Their products are made with recyclable materials and printed with non-toxic soy-based ink on recycled paper.
I’ve been using several Blue Sky Home Series products since school started and I felt like a kid in an organizational candy store when they arrived. Even a digital, wired mom needs her arsenal of office supplies to keep her in check!
Inspired by fun, modern designs from Susy Jack Contemporary Paper, here’s a look at these fun and functional products I’ve been using:
Notes Mouse Pad: With columns for do, call, and buy, I love having a visual reminder right on my desktop of my to do items.
Weekly/Monthly Planner: I love planners with pages for glancing at the entire month, as well as pages for each week, and this planner also has helpful tabbed pages. Several handy one-pagers, such as lists for major holidays in 2011, 2012, and 2013 (perfect for planning those future beach vacations) and essential info pages for contacts, as well as party planner pages and travel checklists, make this planner more than a planner, but a handy household organizing guide.
Multi-Task Notebook: As a blogger I love to carry a small notebook with me to jot down post ideas and other to dos that strike me as I sit in my car or wait at appointments or sports practices. I love the portable size of this notebook and the pocket dividers for loose items, such as coupons or recipes or workout plans torn out of doctor’s office magazines (not that I’d EVER do that…ahem).
The Blue Sky series can be found at Target or online at Blue Sky’s website and ranges in price from $3.99 to $9.99, making it a budget friendly option for savvy moms who want to stay organized this school year and look good while doing it.
