Fashion Friday: Cowl Neck Dresses

I went shopping at a consignment store the other day and picked up a beautiful teal sleeveless cowl neck top. It will look great with black pants or skinny jeans.

I personally think a cowl neck is a very flattering neckline on everyone. And it’s a look that is hot this year!

I’d love to find a cowl neck dress. They can be dressed up or down, depending on your accessories. Check out these cowl neck dresses I found online, ranging from $119 to less than $20!

Love the jade green color of this mini dress from Piperlime, priced at $119.

At $29.90, this vibrant dress from Nordstrom is a deal!

This cute striped cowl neck dress is only $17.49 at Kmart.

I love this animal print dress from Ann Taylor Loft, which would be a great transitional piece to carry you into fall. It’s priced at $59.50.

Banana Republic’s classic navy cowl neck dress is $59.99 (save 25% more with code BRJULY through 7/31) and also comes in a vibrant fuschia.

Fashion Friday: Stock Up On Girls’ Basics at Kohl’s

Kohl’s is one of my favorite stores to hit for their fabulous sales. There’s a great Kohl’s near my office but since I am not working outside the home this summer I am not heading that way every week. But their online sales are just as fabulous!

This weekend you can save an additional 15% off all merchandise at Kohl’s with code SUMMERFUN at checkout online. This is a great time of year to stock up on summer basics and snag some fantastic back-to-school deals. Although my girls wear school uniforms, they do have dress down days. Plus here in Nashville we have hot weather well past Labor Day.

Fashion Friday: I Covet Ikat

The Ikat print is big this summer but if you’re like me, you don’t want to invest a lot of cash into a trend. Accessories are the perfect way to update your wardrobe.

Ikat is everywhere, from shoes to housewares.

Almost everything pictured below is priced at $20 or less so you won’t break your summer fun budget. The Athleta tunic is not, but I thought it was too gorgeous to not include in this wrap up!
