Ask anyone who grew up in the Middle Tennessee area, like me, what Nashville’s signature steakhouse is and you’ll get the same response – Sperry’s.
Sperry’s is a Nashville restaurant icon. I remember my parents going there on date nights when I was a little girl!
Hubby and I do not get enough date nights, that’s for sure, and if you’re like us you are always up for a lovely meal out on the town! Sperry’s is offering a great Parents Night Out deal (not to mention 1/2 price bottles of wine the ENTIRE month of August.) Starting Aug. 4, any parent who drops their child off at The Children’s Playroom in Belle Meade or Cool Springs will receive a $10 coupon to Sperry’s, and after redeeming the coupon after their meal they’ll receive a $5 coupon for The Children’s Playroom (which also has locations conveniently located by the Belle Meade and Cool Springs Sperry’s locations). Date night made easy? I’m there!
Hubby and I were lucky enough to receive a Sperry’s gift card toward a date night dinner on a recent Friday night (and as a side note I must add that we saw Mayor Dean and his lovely wife dining there for the evening). We had 6:45 reservations and as soon as we arrived we splurged and ordered a bottle of Kendall Jackson Chardonnay to start things off with Sperry’s amazing fresh bread and butter. We also ordered an oyster appetizer which was on special for the evening which was incredible.
Sperry’s is Nashville’s signature steakhouse (the doors of the Belle Meade Harding Pike location opened in 1974) so of course hubby ordered the Filet Oskar, an 8 ounce filet stuffed with King Crab, asparagus and bearnaise sauce and I ordered the delicious Salmon Florentine. Sperry’s signature salad bar is incredible. And of course no date night is complete without dessert – we split a super decadent brownie concoction!
